Advanced employee settings

We covered the basic employee settings in one of my previous posts. Now we'll talk about the advanced settings: privileges, regional settings, calculation, integration data.

Privileges

Privileges section allows you to set the rights that employees have within the All Hours.

Option has full access will grant full access to settings, all teams and all employees. This is the highest possible privilege.

Team access allows you to assign team leaders. They can manage time for all employees in their own team. Another option is setting team access to all teams. In this case team leader can manage all employees. This level of access is somewhat similar to full access but it does not allow access to settings.

Privilege called can change own clock records allows employees to edit their own registrations via browser or on their android phone. Read more about this in the registering and editing time post.

Regional settings

Regional settings define user interface language, time zone in which employee works and date and time format. Employees can either inherit these settings from company's account settings or can have their own settings set. This allows personalized look and feel since each user can select preferred language and date and time formats.

Calculation

First day of work represents the first day the time lines are shown on the event view.

Integration data

Employee ID allows you to export data with additional employee ID. This ID is used only when exporting data and is not shown on the user interface. Its main purpose is integration with other services and systems.
