Registering and editing time

All Hours offers various ways of registering and editing your time: browser clock, hardware clocking device, mobile application, browser editor.

In this article we'll present you with details on each one of them so you can easily decide which options suit best for your company.

Browser clock

The most basic way of registering your time is using the clock from your browser. Users with appropriate permissions can adjust time of clocking within a window of +/-5 minutes. This is a special courtesy you can set for your users allowing them to compensate for the time they need to end working day once they logged off the computer. Same goes for coming to work when it takes a while for user to log in to system and access the All Hours browser clock. This feature can be set individually for each user.

Besides clocking in and out the browser clock always shows you your current presence status by changing its color. You can read more about meaning of the colors here: The colors of Web Clock.

Hardware clocking device

Using the AH Clock is the recommended way of registering your time, since it ensures the most reliable employee ID and minimizes the risk of buddy punching. It’s also very convenient to simply swipe your badge as you enter and leave the office.

Installation of device is simple and there is no need for local network configuration. Once you plug the device to the internet you can start using it.

You can watch AH device setup video on YouTube.

All Hours for Android

Another way of registering your working time is using your Android phone. You might be on the road for the whole day, even without a laptop. Simply use your phone to clock in for work, register your lunch time and clock out when you’re done for the day. It works even if there’s no signal!

AH Time Tracking is actually much more than just a time registration terminal. You can also use it to view your monthly timeline, manage your time registrations or request a vacation.

Download and install it from Google Play.

Browser editor

Browser editor allows you to enter comments, missing events, change events or alter event time. You must have special privileges set to be able to make these changes.
